Waldon Studio Architects Adds Bill Brown to its Growing Healthcare Design Team

August 17, 2021 (Columbia, Md.) – Waldon Studio Architects (WSA) has announced that Bill Brown has joined the firm as Project Manager for the growing Healthcare, Institutional, and Life Sciences Team.  Bill will be based out of the Washington, DC office, overseeing projects across the mid-Atlantic region.

Bill has over 20 years of design and planning experience in the DC area spanning a wide range of project types.  In addition to a large portfolio of Healthcare and Institutional projects, he also brings in-depth experience in higher education, laboratory, and tenant fit-out projects. Bill looks forward to aiding all sectors of Waldon Studio with his design, technical and management expertise.

“Bill’s profound knowledge of planning and design experience for institutional projects is an enormous asset to Waldon Studio Architects team firmwide,” explains Patrick Schultz, AIA, EDAC, LEED AP, Principal and Director of WSA’s Healthcare Practice. “We are delighted to have Bill join the team, not only for his notable expertise, but also for the great client care and meticulous attention to detail he provides relentlessly on every project.”

“Waldon Studio is a firm where my knowledge and experience will coalesce with a great team, in partnership with our clients, to produce the best project outcomes,” explains Bill Brown, regarding his new role at Waldon Studio Architects. “What I find most exciting about Healthcare architecture, is that it is never the same project twice. No matter the scope or similarities of program, there are always new challenges or things to discover from project to project. I am looking forward to the exciting opportunities that lie ahead at WSA.”

In addition to Bill Brown, WSA has added two additional new hires this year. WSA’s nationally recognized studio continues to expand its geographic footprint throughout the mid-Atlantic region and across the United States through its various practice areas.
