Mid-Atlantic Community Church

Mid-Atlantic Community Church, a young, contemporary congregation, acquired a 43-acre site within a 1/2 mile of a major interstate, and collaborated with WSA to create a new church environment where, “friends become family.” The community focus and location suggested a theme developed around the idea of becoming family and becoming a follower of Christ, a place where people can begin again. The pre-engineered 48,000sf building features a seating areas in the new glass lobby with café & fireplace, a high-tech, expandable worship space for 900, administration wing, classrooms, and arts and craft spaces, dance and exercise spaces, full basketball court, youth recreation and meeting spaces. Future phases in the master plan are planned to be approximately 38,000sf for Phase Two, and 60,000 sf for Phase Three.
