Mountain Lake Community Church

This 20,000 SF sanctuary and meeting room addition to an existing 25,000 SF church in Forsyth County Georgia was completed in 2011. The sanctuary included 800 stadium seats, with colorful finishes, and rear projection screens which flank the stage. A generously-sized lobby was designed with a cafe and contemporary styled finishes and colors. An outdoor fireplace and landscaped gathering area was designed between the existing and new buildings, as a relaxing place for fellowship and gathering activities. This building showcases creative ways of utilizing pre-engineered metal building systems. Waldon Studio Architects worked as the architect of record with Visioneering Studios as the design architect.
